Engine oil recommendation?

Hello bros not sure if any bro has experience & can advice on the following ...
1) whats our recommended grade for engine oil?
2) any equivalent reliable engine oil grade to recommend on oil change during servicing? Personally I'm considering shell helix ultra 5W40
3) any tangible usefullness if comapre/use 0W40 ... ?
just to share currently im using 5W50, fc suffer
4) if bring own engine oil for servicing, any experience typically how much discount comfort delgro or khang's automatic will offer?
currently comfort delgro charging $138 (price went up
), khang automatic $100

bro edlim1, me currently using MOBIL but might try AMSOIL next round! 
heard fm Civic owners not bad!
since we are Honda family should be ok i guess!

A) Why dont you try AutoBacs? You can have choose of engine oil & get free service.

1) which one is recommended by KM, Castrol EDGE 10/30W or shell helix ultra 5W40
2) will chk out AutoBacs ... my only concern is warranty

KM using Shell helix ultra 5W40.
Your car for PI? then I not sure about whether your service centre allow you to buy your own engine oil? pls double check with them.

bro JazzGD1 my ride from PI under TWM warranty, so far i go khang automatic or spark (formal comfort delgro)

Anybody tried this engine oil ????? Its even done in TWN workshop.

just to share with bros who svc at Khangs automatic, check with them & was told no problem to bring along own engine oil + filter, Khangs automatic will only charge $30 labour for svc ..

??? Funny what Does engine oil got to do with battery life?
I only use well know brand engine oil. Sorry I don't trust this.
