BEWARE: WHITE VAN SPEAKER SCAM/CON ARTIST: ORIX SPEAKER

Please beware of people selling so call "Hi-End" home entertainment set at carpark. One of my friend just got con into buying at them at $250 last week and end up it is just 5 pc useless speaker worth only $50. They are 2 Ah bengs telling you it is surplus from warehouse and they want to sell off and earn some beer money with their storeman. Search the web and you will find this has been going on since 2005 and they still very active today. They will show you the ORIX advertisment retailing at $2900 in some HI-FI MAgazine and give you invoice and warranty card. They even tell you a uncle has just bought from them at $800 and will show you the cash. They will should you their NRIC and give you their HP no to make it more convincing. PLease do not fall into their trap and inform your friends and relative about such cases.

Wow I was approached some yrs back at my office carpark. Thought they were caught...... Better lodge police report. My case is 2 deliveryman. Not ah beng.

3 times in different timing at different location.
Basically they travel round the island looking for target.
